Back by popular demand! Bobby Does Dylan is returning to The Whisky Bar at Oran Mor following a successful night last Summer.


Bobby is delighted to be returning to the venue “Last year was an amazing gig.  Oran Mor had a great atmosphere and it wasn absolute pleasure to play there.  I am so pleased to have been asked back again.”


The gig will take place on Monday the 17th of June and starts at 8.00 PM.


Entry is free so no excuses folks!  Get along and listen to Bobby playing live where he’ll be singing some Bob Dylan favourites from Blowing in The Wind to The Hurricane!

Victorian Suite Greenock

Bobby Does Dylan will be playing at the Victorian Suite in Greenock on Friday the 25th of January 2013.  For 90 minutes Bobbby will  play a wide mix of Bob Dylan favourites from Times are a Changin’ to Things have changed.

Doors open at 7.30 PM with Bobby Dylan on stage by 9.30 pm. Before Bobby graces you on the stage he will be preceded by local singer Martin Jones and on this Robert Burns night special Bobby will be brought on to the stage by the sound of bag pipes by local piper, Emma Murray.  After Bobby has performed his two sets the rest of the nights entertainment will be left to a top class DJ who will provide music for you you to dance the night away until 1.00.

Tickets are £10.00 each and available to buy locally at The Victorian Suite, Greenock and Adlib Music, Jamaica Street, Greenock.

Directions:  The Victorian Suite is situated at 30 Inverkip Road, Greenock, PA15 1TF (Point B on the Map below).  If travelling from outside of Greenock the best option is train as the Victorian Suite is only a 2 minute walk from Greenock West Train station (Point A on the Map Below), which can be reached from lines via Glasgow Central Train station.  See below for map and directions.

Parking is available next to the Victorian Suite and opposite Greenock West Station, which is a 2 minute walk from the venue.

Bute Rainbow Festival – 25th of May

bob11 Bobby Does Dylan will be playing at the Isle of Bute Rainbow Festival of Folk on Friday the 25th of May. The Folk Festival is taking place at the Isle of Bute on Rothesay. Bobby will be playing at 8.00 PM on the first night of the festival.

A single ticket for the day, which will get you in to see Bobby will cost you £8.50. There are other tickets for the whole weekend that will get you access to a whole bunch of other great folk bands and activities over the course of the weekend.

Oran Mor – Glasgow – June 2012

Bobby Does Dylan is proud to announce that he will be playing at the prestigious stage at the Oran Mor in Glasgow as part of the Glasgow West end Festival on Monday the June 11th. The next best thing is that the event will be free admission. Yes that’s right free admission! The gig will begin at 8.00 pm at the Byres Road venue so get there early to make sure you get in.

Oran Mor was formerly Kelvinside Church was developed into a an Arts and leisure centre in June 2004. It is home to the famous lunchtime event A Play, A Pie and a Pint. The venue has become well known for great music and theatre and will be proud to present Bobby Does Dylan in his first Glasgow gig.

Greenock Town Hall

Bobby Does Dylan is appearing at The Greenock Town Hall on September the 9th, 2011 in a charity event being held for The family of Jayde McVicar who died in a tragic car accident last year.

The event is being organised by Jacqueline McVicar, the mother of Jayde who hopes to raise the money for young children: “We want to raise money to go to other young people who love singing and drama and she loved children. It was her whole life and it would be great to give others the chance.”

The proceeds from the night will go to the Ardgowan Hospice and various charities.

Tall Ships Races July the 11th at 12.15

Bobby will appear live at the Tall ship Races in Greenock as part of a lineup act of local talent alongside Scottish stars Lulu and Deacon Blue

The Tall Ships Races 2011 – Greenock is a free event that takes place in Greenock, Scotland! The event site will be open from 1100 until 2230 daily on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. On Tuesday the Parade of Sail, will start at 1300.

As well as live entertainment and the race expect to see parades, street theatre, markets, childrens entertainment and much more.
